Vericor products help our customers lower their carbon footprint with no compromise in performance. Our gas turbines are available with low emission combustion systems that utilize clean, economical and plentiful natural gas. This combination is environmentally friendly and lowers costs all with no reduction in performance. Now that’s sustainable savings!

Combined heat and power (CHP) systems are a great example of high efficiency use of fuel to economically generate electric power and steam. These systems can operate at up to 85% efficiency compared to central power plants that deliver electricity to end-users at 40% efficiency or less. CHP plants reduce consumption of natural resources by burning approximately half the fuel to generate the same amount of energy as central power plants combined with on-site boilers.

When compared to diesel engines, Vericor’s gas turbines have significantly lower emissions. This is evident in the use of our gas turbines for hydraulic fracturing applications that utilize alternative fuels such as CNG, LNG or flare gas versus diesel fuel. This significantly lowers exhaust emissions and minimizes or eliminates the cost of fuel.
