Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor

Scope Of Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor. This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will also lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that they are meeting performance standards and adhering to safety regulations.

    Responsible supervising personnel for picking, packing, and shipment of pick tickets for engine production kits and spares orders.

    • Communicate status of work orders, spares, and vendor shipments to team.

    • Responsible for management of Logistics ERP system transactions.

    • Create, implement, and enforce inventory control procedures.

    • Responsible for physical inventory (accuracy, cycle count program, and reconciliation).

    • Coordinate in-coming and out-going freight.

    • Supervision of warehouse operations and personnel (receiving, packaging, shipping, etc.) and setting priorities.

    • Manage Material Movement Ticket Log.

    • Creating all standard of work for Logistics and Warehousing tasks.

    • Coordinate effectively across functional groups.

    • Manage import and export of ITAR controlled items.

    • Responsible for ITAR Export Control review and clearance activities.

    • Responsible for export Proforma invoices.

    • Responsible for negotiation of rates and terms/conditions with carriers.

    • Manage material expiration.

    Bachelor’s Degree or 5 to 10 years of applicable professional experience in inventory/logistics management.

    • 3 to 5 years of experience with ERP system management (Business Central preferred).

    • US Citizen or permanent resident status required.

    • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains or Microsoft Business Central preferred.

    • Demonstrated self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

    • Ability to interface effectively with manufacturing, engineering, finance and program management functions.

    • Experience in gas turbine engine manufacturing or maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO).

    • Experience with bills of material, source control, engineered components, and manufacturing of industrial products and services.

    • Familiarity with INCO terms and standard terms and conditions in supplier relationships.

    • High level of competency in MS Office applications.

    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar Quality System requirements.

    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
